The Nandina are in their Autumn Array this week. The leaves are developing a reddish tinge and the berries sport an orange undertone. I saw this very mature Nandina plant growing beside an equally mature door. I think the building might have been a carriage house at one time. I recorded this image because I liked the way the berries extended the arch of the door. Thanks for coming to take a look.

The composition in this photo is stunning it looks like a beautiful area to set and relax and the colours are wonderful along with lovely sharp detail too.Also I do like the shadows that are reflected on the wood work at the back of this photo too.

Now for something completely different LOL Are those berries edible, maybe...., perhaps in small amounts ... LOL Not now, they are too beautiful! But later when they fall down.
