You can see by the long shadows that the day was ending. Still, when I shot this beautiful old tree, I knew that I was shooting a little early. I didn't wait...I was already late for an appointment...and so I took this exposure anyway. Imagine my surprise to see the flare on the side! Blind luck, and most welcome! Thanks for coming to take a look at this beautiful old tree.

It's one mighty beautiful tree, don't know if it is an oak, but it is a splendid example of how a tree should be shaped in my opinion. Wonderful capture.

Plane tree or maple tree is my guess... Or in fact maple plane tree which is typical and common here.
This would be my favourite tree too!
Fantastic image, even if accidental. Maybe so charming just because taken without any deliberate preparations:)

What a grand old looking tree this is it feel the scene and perfect composition and stunning detail and love how you captured the undulating grass hill the tree is grow out of plus the colours are amazing and natural too.Also the flare adds a lovely feel to the this photo as well .
