A very dramatic image. Fantastic how the horizon seems to melt right into the sky! Great composition - unique and leading. Good lighting and exposure. I feel that gorgeous boat is a bit out of focus or perhaps just undersized for the enlargement because it looks quite pixelated when I enlarge it full size. Otherwise a superb image. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Brian - at first I thought it was oversaturated with color, but when viewed as a larger image the color is right on. Bob is right. . . Cracker. Do more please.
I agree with colorcolor...the sky and water are just gorgeous...the boat resting peacefully on the water is peaceful and very appealing...unfortunately, there does seem to be some pixelation on the boat...otherwise a wonderful job Brian.:Pat.
Due to FALL being my busiest season at my store...I rarely am able to view & comment. Someday I will catch up. PLEASE...if there is a particular work that you really want me to view, pm and I will make it a priority! Thanks so much!
What a dynamite manip Brian. It looks like the sky and the water are melded together without seams and the closeup of the end of the boat is amazing. The clarity and perfect colors are just magnificent. A keeper for sure and so glad you shared this one.
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Interesting work and idea!! The back of the boat seems a wee to bright given the fact the sun is setting in front of it. A smidge more tweakin' and it'll be rockin'!!
Brian, this is a keeper! Good title too. The water is magnificent with fine ripples and super coloration. The sky blends beautifully with the sea. Beauty of a boat, which appears real, casting nice reflections. I agree - this is a cracker! Fantabulous job Brian :)) Oh, I gave this high marks in the V/B...

Yes, I like it. Very appealing. The boat needs to be in sharp focus as it appears to be in the thumbnail. But, a very pleasing effect none the less.

I was really impressed with this - it has great impact. I mentioned it in A Voting Game only to discover someone else had got there before me :)
Great picture, into my favourites :)
Great job. I agree with the few correction comments made by those who have gone before me, but I also think that you're on to something here, and you've obviously got skills in this area..Now that you've shown us what you can do...let's see more ;)PJ
I love the image idea and design. It's a stunning image and almost realistic except for the fact that the light on the boat is coming from behind and to the right and not from the sunset. It could be subdued a little to be from a dock light, a flash or some other light source in the harbor. Overall it's terrific.

Good job on the technical part of the manipulation. Good subjects, in both the boat and the sunset/rise. Although, I hate to point this out, but it does seem strange to me how the sun is setting (or rising) in the distance but the back of the boat is lit up from behind.
Edit: my bad, I didn't see that this was already posted...

excellent work, brian!! the colors and textures are a feast for the eyes, and the horizon in mid-frame works wonderfully. not sureif anyone else seesit, but theres just a trace of noise in the darkest areas of the clouds...im guessing just a little post work should eliminate that..otherwise, this is perfect!
