I keep seeing images of this bridge by various people but the perspective is always so close up I can't make out the layout of the structure. Now, this shows it all quite well and now I understand the structure of this bridge. This is a wonderfully clear and colorful image. Exceptionally well captured.

I agree with Pat. It's nice to see it in this perspective. It really is beautiful Brian and you've photographed it so well in detail. The buildings are quite beautiful as well. Outstanding capture!
Great angle of view! The city scape makes a good background. The colors and lighting all play well together. I'd be tempted to photoshop out the bright yellow bus though.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Beautiful shot! I know nothing about this bridge, so I will ask a what may be a dumb question: does the bridge rotate up to allow boats/ships to pass? It looks as if it is mounted on pivots that would allow it to do so.
It immediately made me think of the Liberty Bridge in Greenville, SC, USA (about 10 miles from where I live). The Liberty Bridge in Falls Park is great addition to the Upstate of South Carolina. It is fun to walk on because it bounces a little bit. Plus, it overlooks the Reedy River Falls. Take a look at an overhead view at this website - http://en.structurae.de/photos/index.cfm?JS=46289
