This is Penshaw Monument,Sunderland,it was a bit dull,so I altered the sats,to brighten the sky,and darkened the monument,I would love to hear what you think .
Brian I think you have a done a wonderful job on this. The way the monument stands out against that wonderful sky is just simply lovely. Sandi Excellent!
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I like the overall effect, Brian, and I think it was a very good idea, but since I don't know what program you used, I can't comment on exactly what it is, but it looks to me like however you lightened the sky bled a little on to the hill where the monument is sitting..just around the top and down in front of the monument itself. I had to really look to see it, so it's no biggie...just thought I'd point it out since I rarely find anything to criticize in your uploads..nice job.
I really like this Brian. It deserves far more than what it is getting in the ratings. This is one of those images you can stare into a long time and just lose yourself. Well done.

I won't even try to comment on the technical side of the image.. I would like to concentrate on the atmosphere you have created. I feel like a witness of some significant event, the temple looks so mysterious and ominous. Kind of spiritual I would say...
I'm used to a lot of manipulations of the greek ruins. I like them but can never get over how manipulated they are. This is still very real, and yet has a very dream-like quality. Excellent!
