Brian I think it works well like this. You have that moody sky but yet the castle has a lightened up look like sun casting light onto it. I think this is very good my friend.

The grey clouds really do add to the mood of the photo. Color, saturation and contrast are perfect, but the left sky line is a little blown out. I took it onto my desktop and into PS and recreated the clouds very faintly and it looked ten times better. Just a brush with the stamp tool and then the healing brush and it was very easy.

Nice to see you posting again, my friend, but then I am so far behind in commenting, that you might have posted quite a few more after this one. I agree with all above, a little bit of post work should have fixed this up, but all in all, the composition is really quite marvelous. :)
