I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

What a vista this is Brian. Everything is so clear and it looks so organized. Must have playful sheep where you live because all the walls and openings look like a "Sheepmaze." Does this make their wool stand on end for easier shearing? The composition and colors is just perfect. I can't imagine anyone not putting it in their favorites. My Cows gave your sheep a 100. Great post.
Just came from the VB. Voted on 40 pics. This my friend was THE one that made the time spent worthwhile. Beautiful scene ... The rolling hills are wonderfully captured here and with excellent clarity. What a shot.
I'm so glad you got a high score on this, and I hope it holds, because you definitely deserve it, my friend. This is delightful in every way. Uploaded it into my fave file right away...Amazingly good.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Brian, if this is from your last trip to Swaldale, I'm sure it won't be your last trip to Swaldale, after seeing this unforgettable scene!
Thanks,you're on my desktop!

Lately, I've been quite taken with nature photography from the Lakes District as well as around Yorkshire. This is a breathtaking image and is inspiration for a visit, in spite of the lousy exchange rate!
