This city built by Akbar in the early 1500s was deserted when they realised there was not enough water. This photo is taken very early in the morning, when the sun is low and you get great colours. Let me know what you think.

wow, all that arcitecture and nobody living there, you would have thought they would have checked out the water situation before they spent all that time building! looks kind of eerie being deserted, but must have been fun to shoot.

There seems to be a lot of dust in the atmosphere in these pictures causing a general lack of contrast. I always have problems taking large buildings as they always look less than impressive unless there is that magical touch about them. This building offers a lot of scope though with all the pillars and the light and shadows, and no people! I never manage to find buildings with no people. I think I would lose some sky and the step in the foreground and up the contrast a little. I really find these pictures interesting and look forward to more.
