He does look very comfortable with his tenor sax and I'm believe he was good as you said. I like the low color levels in the shot and the clarity is really good.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

This is a great shot...full of character and atmosphere...you should enter it in our current contest, Urban Life...if you're not aware of it you can find more info on it by clicking on discussion board (at your left) then choosing member initiated projects.
I like this shot because it tells a story...and the colors are very evocative of Sacramento in the late summer. I think the entire pic would be improved if posted in a larger resolution and the two tourists on the far right (one half body, another just a hand and an arm), as well as their shadows, had been cloned out.
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Hello Amanda. This is a very good image of this musician. I would suggest a tighter crop so he is the main subject with out the background distractions. Nice find and a lovely image.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
Edward Weston
Not only is he kewl lookin' but I would BET he sounded even
better !!! I agree, I think I would have cropped out the other folks around there..and concentrated on him totally, but no matter what, it's a great shot that speaks tons.!! VErena
