This is a rework of an original post by mikerkim, the picture has loads of potential, I played about with it for hours producing multiple versions. The version I decided to post had very subtle adjustments. First I straightened the lamp then I ran a graduated neutral density filter to bring out the detail in the sky and after a slight recrop I removed some of the bluring from the cyclist. I would like to thank Mike for allowing me to play with his image. The original post can be viewed here. http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Infopage&image=mikerkim-1260253651.jpg

Obviously a lot of care and love has gone into this.

I like these beautiful colours. Nice work! Anyway, I think it would be better if we could see a little more foreground.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
