For all the strong-willed, assertive, stubborn, creative and competitive women out there. I created this image in Photoshop using the shape tool, rectangle marquee and pen tool. I also applied some layer overlays. No offense meant toward the wonderful men out there... but I wanted to pay tribute to the ladies who walk this world, unafraid and determined to achieve levels of greatness despite glass ceilings, perceptions, imposed limitations and such. I hope you enjoy this work.

Great work, but it doesn't speak for me because I already know the power of 'womanhood' and I have no feelings of insecurity about it. I don't worry about glass ceilings, limitations, perceptions and being aggressive. What I worry about more are women who use their feminine physical attributes instead of their brains and their passions to seek fulfillment and happiness. Just a personal take, but I do like the intention and the work you put into this. It is striking and bold and those two bright colors, the green and the yellow green play nicely against each other to grab your attention.

Thanks for your comments Cindy... I agree with what you've said about women who solely rely on their physical appearance to advance in life. They sell themselves short.

Women are the foundation of so many things. I think womanhood doesn't even need a thing other than to "be". But I too like the strong colours here, bright, cheeful and nice to look at. Personally, I'd like to see you do something a bit more "feminine" aNd not such straight lines, I think women have tons of "artistic sides" and I dont mean physically. But thanx for the thoughts....I like what you wrote...V
