Playing around in Photoshop and came up with this from this. I really take the layers through a process, testing multiple filters on each. Using colors, gradients and layer blends until tweaked till I'm satisfied. It's unusual. But so am I. I hope you like it! :)

Ah Ha! The first one again. This looks very rich in colors designs - the textures look tactile. I see so many things: sand painting, old drawings from ancient amerindian cultures, the south. Lovely work Smoosh.

Smooshie, can I be honest? I love the background image: the lines and colors and textures are dynamic and intriguing. I really hate the cartoonish blammo. Can you make it go away? Love and cyberhugs, anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

I really like that background. It amazes me when I look at the stock images you provide and I think, "You made that from that?" Wow. I am not sure about the 'blammo' either as Anne put it. I think the color elements are congruous, but maybe the circles of one and the sharp edges of the other are extreme in contrast? I just am not sure. The background reminds me of fine persian rugs and of all the textiles, I am immensely fond of persian or really any kind of ethnic floor covering. As if anyone cares that I do, but I just had to say that. I guess I'm tired too. Good night, Smoosh.

Great concept...taking into consideration with what the starting image is...but possibly the explosion..or "Blammo", as it seems to be called...could have a bit less opacity...The rest is excellent!

Sorry to say my dear but i agree with everyone else, the background is delicious, but the blammo is too much of a contrast - colour and shape wise - and doesnt look quite right!

I like the blammo but I would reduce it so that it occupies about an eighth of the screen. As it stands now it's obtrusive and overwhelms the image. :)

i like this very much as well...in fact i swiped it .. tyvm :o) the blammo is ok in that it's a nice contrast to the rest of the piece, and maybe could use just a tad of softening, or a even a hint of...brownish sandstone perhaps?
