LOL I was about to say what a nice hardwood floor then I glance up at the other comments and see the same results....so I will just say this is really cool and reminds me of you guessed it a "hardwood floor" nice textures
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.
-Josemaria Escriva
My husband also thought it looked like flooring. Funny, I can't see that. :) I think it's because I'm a seamstress and do lots of crafting. Cindy hit the nail on the head... I was going for a fine, crinkled silk texture. Something batik like in color/design. But I love all the feedback and appreciate your comments very much. Thanks!
This is a wonderful work of art Terri.....Ya know...you have subliminally inserted the Caedes Logo in there. *Well at least that is what I saw* Well done!
Another great pice of work from you, my friend. Have to agree with your husband, it has a wooden feel in my opinion. But that's the great thing with art - it has a lot of different meanings for the viewers and is unique in every single way.
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
"The Colors Bleed" is another example of your fine work. I don't understand exactly how you do this, but each one of your works seems to catch my eye for its particular uniqueness. Specifically your blending or bleeding of a rainbow of colors never ceases to amaze me......Great presentation, Smoosh.......Neil
Very nice .... it reminds me of the hardwood floor in a painter's studio. Splashes of color a tell-tale sign of the lovely work that he creates. Awesome creation here.
I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
