These are very tiny, about3/4" across, and have a very short life span. Thay are pure white at first bloom and change to this color, just before they complete their life cycle.

It looks a lot like the flowers we used to call "Spring Beauty" (Claytonia virginica) when I lived in Virginia. They did not turn blue, however. Perhaps this is a related species. Your photo is very sharp and the composition is good as well. Althgether a delightful image.
