Beautiful picture! I like the vignette and the dark behind the blossom. It appears to be one of the species in the Monarda genus, probably M. media. It's more purple than most specimens, though the common name of that species is "purple bergamot."

Whatever you call it, it is a great photo. Nice and sharp. I like the soft edges as well. You can never go wrong with a purple flower imho.
