Another of a child and his cat, in Old Quebec.
I just happened to notice the youngster, the cat and the torn screen, and he appeared oblivious of me, and lost in his own thoughts.
Probably, "where's mum and my ice cream".
What a touching photo. It's obvious the child is forlorn. Perhaps the cat is trying to cheer the child up. You've done a wonderful job on this. Thank you so much.
Another one that I would call a kind of editorial picture. I love that old style look, a bit grainy but a wonderful exposure and saturation. It's nice to have the focus on the window pane and not on the boy in the background. Very good work from you...
A very sensitive photo. It looks more like a little girl tho...but I love all the colour contrasts and the feeling of the whole thing...the cat...well, this is a very good picture . nice work..V
Thanks all, for your kind comments. I thought the child was a boy, mainly becuse of the short hair. In those days, all girls had long hair. The clothes and sandals were worn by both, at that age, so I couldn't tell from that.
I feel like I am fading. I've lost the Holy Ground. Maybe there's a chance, that the lost will be found.
If you saw a possum on the side of the road, would you too?
Love the color work, focusing our attention on the child and the box. To me he either seems just bored, or scolded and sent to his room to pout and the cat friend is there to share it with him. Very good emotive, storied image.
