Lake Powell was formed by the damming of the Colorado River, at Page, Arizona. It was a very controversial issue, as it drowned, ancient burial sites, beautiful canyons, and villages along the river. This is taken, just a few miles North of the bridge, at Page, but on the Western side of Lake Powell, near the Arizona-Utah border. This shows a very tiny, almost inconsequential part, of a very large and exceedingly beautiful lake.
