This was shot today' on a large area of drownned land. It is covered with the stumps of drowned or beaver felled, trees. This particular stump reminded me of a castle, complete with moat, and an approaching Pilgrim

A very nice capture. The tree stump does look like a castle. I like how this is done in B/W. You have a good eye for interesting subjects. Great work.

Your imagination is great and I can see what you've described in this photo. Thank you Mother Nature and thank you Doug for shooting this. Very good work.

I actually thought it was a castle before I read the description or looked at it full size. Nice work, Doug.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

I feel like I am fading. I've lost the Holy Ground. Maybe there's a chance, that the lost will be found. If you saw a possum on the side of the road, would you too?

Wow! Very striking and surreal. It does look like something out of the realms of Tolkien.
I know its just a rotten old stump or 2 in the middle of a puddle but you have done it justice and captured it well Doug !

I see the castle and it's surrounded by a lonely desolate land. Good concept and great capture!
