This Giant growth of Prickly Pear cactus, is bent on making a pit stop, a major hazard. This is the outhouse, behind the old homestead, in Steins Ghost Town, New Mexico.
I like the image, well captured, nice compostition...good contrast and color....and I like the title...very humorous. There is nothing wrong with "damn". There is much worse out there today. Lighten up Luke!
This is really rather rudimentary looking..like there are 'modern' outhouses?? lol..and the cacti make it look really frightening. Good eye for a cute capture. Thanks for sharing it with us "~)
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Great shot doug. One would have to be careful when going. One may feel a bit of a prick if caution is not exercised! Yeah Doug! Using profanity I see, you bad, bad man (jk lol) ;)
Yeah, those mesquites have some pretty vicious thorns too! Everything seems to be growing really big. Must be the fertilizer left over from when it was easier to get there.
Thanks for stopping but I think I can wait, no really, that big rock over there looks more inviting. A really neat find and I love those prickly pears, they've been there a long time.
I like the humor to this. Nice clarity. Those cacti do look like they are on the move :) Good colors too. Anytime there are cacti around, you'd better be careful. Very good image - Love these fun ones...Thanks!
