This is a more open view,of the 40 million year old cliff face, called a Sill. It's high in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, and just North of the town of Eagles Nest. The Cimarron River runs along the base of the Sill, cutting ever deeper into the mountain, and making the Palisaede, ever taller.

It is a lovely site and to think how young we really are to the rest of the world it is amazing. I love how you have framed it off centre. With the name I may have left it outbut that is just my opition. I love the motion of the water that you have captured aswell. Great work

Interesting shot of an interesting place, Doug. Nicely located on the screen as well. Was there this much contrast in the original or did you tweak it a bit? Cheers! - Dave

I like this picture very much, Doug. It is very lively and wild looking. You have brought out the colors well. I would probably not have put the caption there where it is going to get mixed up with the icons, but, again, that is a personal decision. The image itself is just swell.
