Today was the first time I've taken a camera on our long morning hikes, in over a week. Certainly glad I did, as the number of new blooms sure have the insects, hard at work, and I spent so much time shooting, Blue was getting pretty bored.

I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends. Sincerely, Carrie

They look passed out, docile and drunken on all that pollen! :)
Great capture! Bee shootin' makes me nervous...I only seem to get em coming out...in a bee-line toward my lens...:)

Wow, are those really bees? They look like beetles. Guess things change when you get really close. :) Very good shot again, Doug. I like this one better than the other, despite the other's humour. hehe.

Blue may have been bored, but these bees sure were clearly not bored...they seemed busy as ......well.....bees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fantastic find. Two bees busy in the pollen of the blossom, gathering honey. Another great macro with all the good qualities that make for an good image. Thanks again ! :~)

This is awesome Doug. What a neat picture. This flower looks beautiful with or without the bees. I will try and comment on more of your photos. I haven't been at Caedes lately due to a project I'm working on. Kids are out of school and keeping me busy as well.
Thanks for sharing this.

Wow! That's a very nice capture. Do you know what kind of bug they are? They look like some type of beatle. Well done.
