This is the original of the flower grouping I posted recently, in a Chroma Solarized rendition."Moonlight Becomes You". Just thought I'd show the reason for manipulating the original post. Other than cloning, I haven't learned how to fill in those "hot spots".

I would say this is just perfect as is ... the "hot spots" add interest to the image. I liked the other one also, but I like this one much better. A beautiful capture Doug ... well done.

It's nice to see this original, which is very pretty too. I think I prefer the artificial coloring that you created in the solarized version, personally, but both would make for a great desktop wallpaper!

You know..this is a pretty nice pic. If you could tame down that one hotspot on the upper right it would be a winner. I like it anyway. Nice work.

I think I like the original image a little bit more then the manipulated version. i really like the petal on the flowers as they seem to be made out of tissue paper. The soft colours look great against the green. Great work

This is beautiful! Even more so than the original post. Just gorgeous. Love the light and shadows. And the detail on the flowers and the leaf to the right with the background in soft relief. Really beautiful.

I just can't find anyting wrong with this post Doug. I think it's beautiful. Such a lovely shade of blue on the flowers and the sunlight on them makes them even more beautiful higlighting their color.

But hot spots and shadow are what this one's about! It's a beautiful, healthy cluster falling through the shot like that. The shade around it gives the impression that it's found a shaft of sunlight under trees to bloom in.
