This is the same image used in Joshua Tree Heaven. Just converted to B&W,and using a moonlight filter. I also ran it through Neat Image, and liked the effect. I've been unusually busy the last few days, and haven't been able to keep up. Will do my best to rectify that, and please accept my apologies.

Very interesting, Doug. The image works well as a b/w and the moonlight effect is extremely good for the most part - only the outline of the hills looks a little odd with its slight corona. Or perhaps that is intentional? It reminds me of the screenset of one of those older sci-fi films, such as The Lost World. For sheer creative artistry, your image merits a high rating, IMHO.

This is spooky. Makes me feel like something could be out there in the desert. Something just looking for somebutty-um...I mean somebody to sink their teeth into.

It's dark now and I managed to dig a tunnel under that "fence" I mentioned in "Joshua Tree Heaven" ... I'm Free! I'm Free! ... now if I can just make it beyond those hills out there ... Sorry Doug just my imagination running wild. Gotta cut back on the caffeine. I like this image more than "JT Heaven". That filter really does give a moonlight appearance to this. ... Uh Oh! ... the guards have seen me ... gotta run ..........

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

A good reminder to make sure you carry a flashlight and that the batteries are good. I love the filter you've used Doug, it's certainly done the job well in this. Very pretty.
