During my renovations/repairs, I came across a couple of trays of slides. The next few posts will be of Paris, in the 60's.
This one, on the banks of the Seine, is a great way to spend your lunch break.
Welcome back Doug ... A great shot. Looks like a relaxing spot to have lunch or take a nap. I like the contrast in colors between the concrete & the dark cobalt blue water. Very nicely done.
So good to see you back Doug and I hope all is well. I really like this photo. It's very different from what we usually see here. The people in this photo seem as though they're enjoying their free time and are in their own little world. Very nicely done. It has a calming effect about it.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Hi Doug,
Great to see you back and with such an interesting picture. When I lie down in the sun I usually look for something softer than concrete or marble, but these young folks are probably more resiliant than a geezer like me. Good shot!
Kia Ora Doug, nice to see you.
This is a very artistically composed shot - it really conveys a lovely relaxing lazy atmosphere.
I never had a lunch break like that lol
Great shot, Doug! Love the simplicity of lines, but there is also more than enough to imagine a great story. Great eye! Hope all is well; great to have you back in the stack. Cheers! - Dave
Great angle here and a nice clean clear shot. A tiny bit disappointed though ... thought the mini-skirt was popular back in the 60's ... was hoping to see a little more leg in this photo ... dang!! Sorry just cause I'm on in years doesn't mean I'm dead for Pete's sake. :o)
YES, I still love you...YES...I am still your friend...YES...I care about your work...*sigh* I have just been incredibly busy and have little time to be on Caedes lately...
