The one and only thing I like about flower shots are the colors. The variety of colors in the bloom on the right is endlessly intriguing.

It's a masterful photo and the fact it's of an exquisite subject helps a lot too. One thing I much appreciate is that you singled out healthy specimens in flawless condition. Too many shots of flowers have a damaged leaf or a touch of decay on a petal which which reduces their photogenic value for me. This flora looks perfect though, and I greatly enjoy perfection. If only we had more of it. :-)
