Looks like the duck is testing out the water. Wonderful composition & I like the rippled water too. Looks great in B & W. Very well done Doug.

Maybe the city has hired him to be the water tester? Lol! I like this one Doug, and I have heard of this place but the only time I have been in Detroit was at the airport. :) Tigs♥ =^..^=

The strong patterns, especially the rippled reflections, are excellent and, I think, almost upstage the duck - but not quite. The pluck of a duck drinking city water is awe-inspiring. :-)

The detail and textures of the water and brick work are picture perfect so to speak. I'm amazed at the sharpness that you achieved with your pre-Columbian black and white film and antique camera equipment. The duck adds interest and a good deal of humor to the shot, which is aptly titled, but it's the water and brickwork and not the duck that drew my attention.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.
