Last of the barn fire images, though this was the first shot taken that day. In retrospect, it was a very eerie experience that late afternoon. I'd left my car on the rural highway shoulder, sprinted up the drive, past the house to the barn. There was not a person in sight as I shot these images, nor did I ever see anyone as I turned and left the scene a few minutes later.

It all sounds very sad and also a bit strange. If no one was there, how did the fire start? The series has been so interesting. It has also been thought provoking. Superb black and white image.

Oh, the humanity. Great series of shots. I'm surprised to see a tractor in the shot as I believe this was taken at the height of the use of horse drawn plows.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.

Doug, How strange and it must have been a strange feeling to be the only one to witness this. Nicely done. Tigs♥ =^..^=

One would wonder how the fire started. I like your perspective with machinery in the foreground. A fantastic, but sad series, Doug.
