This posting is a beauty, Doug, and is perfectly titled. I can't think of any constructive criticisms because this shot looks and feels just about right. Starting on the left side, the foreground branches add counterbalance to the beautiful tree. The old fence line is crammed with character and could easily be the primary focus of future shots. Love the colors of the native grasses which are the perfect contrast to the pathway. Everything fits together flawlessly. A wonderful posting.

a great shot, doug. The big tree in itself is gorgeous. The color is just right. I like the balance of the shot.

I like the way the branches at left all point to the colorful tree. The fence tends to lead the eye to it as well. It's a beautiful shot made unique by presenting a mostly, but not completely, turned tree. Might this posting be a hint that it was too cold and snowy to go out snapping pictures today?
