Excellent title, Doug. Not what I was expecting, but I never really know what to expect from your titles. This would have been the winner in the "Simplicity" contest a few months ago. Technically once again I can't find anything to complain about. I am disturbed to see that the hook appears to be leaning ever so slightly to the right.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.

This image I appreciate very much. My husband is a logger plus he has his own sawmill / woodworking shop. So wood is a big part of our life. Nice placement of the hook & the knot holes caught my eye. The shadow / light play adds to the image as well. Wonderful capture, Doug.

This could almost be my barn, except it would have to be red! :)

Good lighting and clarity. A little small for a wallpaper but the textures look really good.

No eye for the hook? Looks like you had an eye for the hook. This is certainly an exercise in simplicity. The hook, it's shadow, and the Morgan Spot on the fourth board are about the only breaks in the wall of barn wood. The photo itself is of your usual high quality but I think it might need a little something additional to enhance its appeal.

Again the raw weathered wood makes for a great photo.
