Old Mill, owned by Purina and finally abandoned. Enlarge it enough to make the large Warning sign readable. Comments and critiques encouraged and appreciated.
Interesting how the sign is 100 years newer than the rest of the structures. I've almost drowned three times; so I wouldn't need the warning.
As always it's a perfectly composed shot. Love the rusted colors although the roof on the building on the left looks out of place. Wonderful perspective showing the calm waters on the right and the turbulence on the left. An shot from your "Extraordinary Shots" bin?
Outstanding image on all counts, the color, textures, and reflections all make this a superb image, and I guess that sign says it all in the end. Tigs♥ =^..^=
I agree it's excellent on all counts. Lets start with the reflection in the water. The detail on all the buildings is very good. The composition is ideal.

Beautiful photo! The angle you chose is great. It provides interesting reflections, a strong line of spilling water, and an impressive perspective. That pink, new-looking roof does add an element of incongruity, but its mystery adds to the interest.
Excellent detail, angle, textures, & reflections. I can tell by looking at the water on the left that the dam spells out danger, but glad the sign is posted on the old mill. Superbly captured, Doug.
Definitely a swimming hole I would not be interested in diving into. The old tin reminds me of some of the old Mines in the Black Hills. Two things the sihouette really makes this photo stand out. And my eye draws to the "pink" roof. I'm wondering if it was red back in the day and has faded. Nice photo, a lot of good things going on.
