Wow, Doug...You can count the hairs on his chinny chin chin. Oh. I guess the chin is at the other end. Never mind.

Great close-up of these beetles doing their thing. I see that you're still playing with your new plugins. Looks like fun and really adds a new dimension to your postings. The white in the background almost reminds me of finger painting.

At first glance I thought it was one of those half masks that were worn in the past at fancy costume balls .
Boy was i surprised to see what it really is!

Great detail and colors. The blurred edges and lifted front petals give a sense of action. If there's a Disney World for bugs these guys could be enjoying a turn on the Daisy Blossom Ride.
