If I were a perch, this is the last thing I'd like to see and probably would be the last thing I ever saw. The heron is poised to strike and seems to have the single mindedness of purpose that I've seen in other predators.
Perfect composition and excellent focus. Doug, you need to stand on a ladder next time to get those pesky leaves out of the shot.
