A bit tighter shot of these tiny flowers against a rail fence. Sorry there's so little depth. They were in constant motion so the fastest possible shutter speed was needed to get this. A good lesson on when Not to use a single focal length Macro lens. A kit lens would do a better job from further back, and just crop to the central image you want.

Very nice posting, Doug. I don't think the apologies are necessary since the depth seems adequate to me. Every background doesn't need to be a blur. As you know, I don't get along very well with flowers. And it's the ones that are blowing around wildly in the wind that give a bad name to the cooperative ones. A very nice capture.

The textured fence is the perfect background for these lovely flowers. The opposing lines are eye-catching. Wonderful capture, Doug.
