The road shaped the title of this post. It's deep in heart of Texas' Big Bend National Park, and facing one of the four mountain rages that converge within the park boundaries.
Doug, the first thing I noticed were the layers of mountains and hills in the background and the amazing detail. My shots of layered hills and mountains always lose detail and create noise. You are a master, that's for sure. As for the composition, it's exquisite. I love the way the road winds into the distance. My only suggestion would be that you should consider lying in the road to get low enough so that the road disappears below the horizon and then reappears. However, the road looks completely flat; so you'd probably need a jack hammer so that the lens is approximately one millimeter off the ground. Never mind.
