Beautiful posting, Doug, except for that very intrusive leaf at the top. LOL.
Did you use a fish eye lens or is the boat just warped. I like the framing created by the jib. I have no idea what a jib is, but they're always saying stuff like "hoist the mainsail, ye landlubbers", and "walk the plank by the aft jib, Cookie".
Hey, Dots, stop playing tricks on me !! LOL I had to check twice ! LOL Being an amateur technician and/or engineer, I know what jib is and agree that all the rigging here makes a good frame or rather introduction to the main theme = harbour. Not bad, my friend, not bad at all !!! LOL SAM
That's quite a large inlet ... looks like a busy one too. I like how the foreground fishing vessel frames the scene. Excellent capture, Doug. Neat looking clouds too.
You must have waited until the middle of the afternoon to get this photo. It probably took that long for the fog to lift. A nice view of the harbour and a beautiful sky in the background. Nice lighting in the scene.
