This little Moth was resting on my balcony, and I thought it had damaged a wing.I managed a few quick shots before it flew away. For lillte more than a one inch wingspan, it had amazingly large eyes. I think you'll have to view large to appreciate just how big they are.

Now when I am sure that nobody beats me, I can comment. LOL
The eyes look like the wolf's so I agree with dear agent Bob.
Such thing happened to me, when I shot the bug [I have shot it so many times and on consecutive days, that I have been absolutely certain that it is one of the crawling things].
To my great surprise [and alarm] it once suddenly flew hardly passing my face !!!
The appearances are delusive at times LOL
Thanks and congratulations, dear Doug !!!

Looks like the Marty Feldman of moths, Doug. Just how close did you get to this critter before you spooked him? Probably he smelled the moth stew on the stove and decided he didn't want to be dinner. Now that's a close up. Beautiful work shooting this bug eyed fellow.

An interesting DOF in your photo, Doug. The post work gives the moth an unusual look, almost like a bat's face staring back at us. Good textures and details in the shot.

It looks like a cross between a moth and a gremlin. I don't like the way it is looking at me. LOL. Very cool shot!
