Hmmm....water droplets. Don't recall having seen such a thing before. Then again, I don't suspect that everything is brown in your neck of the woods, Doug. Kind of weird - in the small version I thought I saw haloing but the full sized version didn't. You and "mythmaker" have been posting shots that show the artistry of simplicity. Ripples in the water, grasses by the lake, patterns and shots where nobody else would have thought to look like your shot of the forest floor last week. I need to start thinking and looking at the potential of shots. I did try a similar shot last night at sunset of some tall grass with a simple orange background at sunset. Problem was the 30mph winds made the shot impossible.
Love the color of the water surface. Looks like grape Kool-Aid. Yummy yums.
I like the overcast days because you don't get those harsh highlights and deep shadows that it is hard to contend with sometimes on a really bright sunny day. I too like the purplish background to show off this lovely shoreline grass in great detail.
