Hi, Doug...

Excellent camera work getting everything in focus near and far. Including the yellow leaves not only acts as a natural border but helps to create some depth to the shot. I like the dark verticals in those tree trunks as they fade into the distance. My only question ties into Marzena's comment above. The forest floor seems to be a very odd color for dead leaves. It looks to me like you had a grape stomping competition and didn't finish mopping up.

To me the bark on the trees stand out. They are so dark and the yellow brightens up the image. Nice work.

Looks like a pine forest, Doug with so many needles on the ground, but what a nice carpet it makes to walk on. I like the contrasts of darkened tree trunks and golden leaves on the bough you included on the left and right, which make the scene seem so immediate.

Doug - No sore feet walking here - with a thick cushion of needles underfoot. The dark tree trunks and bright undergrowth leaves, coupled with the floor needles make a balanced image. The near leaves, left and right, framing the shot is excellent. Thad

A clean looking forest floor you have here, Doug. A nice view of this forest scene. Good colours and depth in the photo.
