The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

That must be Blue ... he's doing what Labradors do best & that's checking out the water. Wonderful capture, Doug ... very natural too.

That water is so blue and so clear. I like the contrast of blue with the tans and grays. I also like the darkening around the perimeter. Great dog and loyal companion.

Blue looks like the happiest dog in the world. He must pinch himself every night at bedtime and tell himself that he really lucked out. So many great smells on those walks with my human, not to mention the little critters I get to meet and all those neat places I get to pee. Doug, you have captured Blue's curiosity and joy in this shot.

You're doing it wrong. A proper fish census involves a stick or two of dynamite and counting the fish that float to the surface after the explosion. A nice capture of the dog, Doug. Good colours and lighting in the scene. I like the smoothness in the textures of the water.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake
