Bee cuz it's Friday. And I don't really know whether these are Bees or some other family. These look more like Ants, but they're pretty big.

Bugs don't like the creepy crawly stuff look like mean mothers can count the hairs on there backs much closer then I like to get a very clear shot..... creepy crawly mumble grumble.

I think they are some type of wasp as well. Excellent shot of the two ... the yellow makes a nice contrast. Nicely captured, Doug.

Alas Doug there are not 2 bee(s). They appear to be cuckoo wasps. Nice lighting on the wildflower and a good closeup of the wasps.

Doug - I'd go with 'not 2 bees', but would go with nice composition and bold colors set again the darker, blurred background. Thad

Very well composed. I like how the flowers are just slightly off center and how their color is very much enhanced by that of the background. As for the insects, Shakespeare would answer, "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"
