Seemed like a family grouping, out for a picnic. Unlike yesterday's post, this is the more common desert sky, and a bit more growth on the mature tree.

Is that a mirage? Truly I'm seeing double. Seems a beautiful oasis to me, Doug. Very nicely presented.

I like this effect, sort of a flipover, but does look like a mirage. Nice sharp colors.

Looks like a bit of trickery to me, Doug. It's a beautiful shot with great colors and composition, but I'm not buying that reflection.

You must have quite a library of photos of your trip to the SW. Can't recall seeing the same one twice.

I like the sharpness in the colours and lighting of this scene. A nice mirror image of this lovely scene.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

A beautiful image in its own right but I'd agree with Roger that the reflection is too crisp and the axis of symmetry too straight to evoke natural occurrence. But I do enjoy how the cloud formation on each side tends to expand toward and set up the center of interest.

Doug - Beautiful reflection for symmetry in this image. Very fine color saturation too. Thad
