She isn't aware of it, but Emily inspired me to take up painting. Of course, I'm a dismal zero ability failure, so I tried what I thought was a method more suited to my lack of ability,"Corel Painter Essentials" It certainly isn't a Monet, but it only took a couple of minutes :-).

This is really quite beautiful. The beige and burnt orange make a lovely pair. This scene would also make a superb oil painting. I hope you don't give up on that. I've always thought talent follows an utterly uncompromising resolve to master the thing.
