Just recall that there was still droplets on the pods, but the unfurled lily appeared quite dry.

Evidently they dry fast Doug. Reminds me of the velvet Elvis' they used to sell.
I like the dark tones and the glowing effect of the flower.

A beautiful photo! It looks like the flower could have a light bulb at its base. That glow plus the generally dark atmosphere makes for a powerful and elegant image.
