Some western roads can be a challenge. If you can't spot this one, just check the right border area. There's a bit of brush covering part of it, towards the power pole, but I suppose the rattlers and gila monsters need shade from the afternoon sun. This is Arizona, but this road is not one I ever encountered in Arizona Highways magazine.

So out of the way, how in the heck did you ever find this spot, I think I see some signs of wires in the upper right side of the beautiful sky. So desolate looking, a good mood shot. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Very nice, Doug.

If I may.. I think I might have been tempted, and if inclined ... to take a small brush and 'paint' back in the wires (pain staking, though it may be).

Or, parts of ... lost to what I assume was some noise reduction in the sky.

The colour contrasts are indeed eye catching.

Excellent composition.

Pretty desolate looking area, but I like the natural look to it. I too see the lines in that blue, blue sky. Good shot though.

The lines in the sky are distracting Doug. Colors steal the show in this one.
Looks like a square knot in the rag. Must be a clue to the Lost Dutchman's mine.

Wow, not my number one vacation spot, although it looks like the ideal place to dry your socks ... or are those not socks? I presume the barbed wire fence is to keep out rhinoceri. And it obviously works well. The contrast of smooth blue sky against the coarse brown/beige terrain works well.

Amazing colours in the scene, Doug, and a bit of a strange place to hang out your laundry. But I guess that's life on the road. A nice perspective in the photo. Looks a bit strange with the disappearing wires hanging in the sky.
