I came across this memorial a few miles West of Wickenburg on Arizona's #60 highway. It's about fifty miles Northwest of present day Phoenix. Thought it was a bit of history that few would ever see, though not that uncommon on the backroads I prefer.

This is a cool shot, Doug . I like the colors and the textures and of course the stage coach and the horses.
I agree we miss hidden treasures traveling on the interstates.
The back roads are always more interesting.
