I am standing about 60 ft. offshore, and this is where I've lived for the past twenty three years. As nice as the scenery is at any time of year, I don't look forward quite as much to the snow shoveling, and sanding the hills in the driveway :-).

An excellent shot of a really interesting home. I'm envious.

The wide aspect perfectly compliments the low, compact lines of the house. The monotone treatment is a nice touch too and gives the scene a timeless quality that's very appealing. I like this image a lot.

What a beautiful place , Doug. You have some beautiful views that's for sure. I would say you get your far share of snow and then some. Great post.

Hope this isn't happening now, it's all to soon, glad I'm not there if this is a recent happening. Work ahead of you I think. Good photo though.

What a wonderful view you must have Doug. Nothing like a nice home to make a man happy. This is a nice one even with the snow.
Cool shot.

Nice house, Doug. You do indeed live on a hill, but you must like it a lot to have stayed 23 years. For the weather contest? If so, good luck.

Doug - No cold and snow - no captures like this! The view from the deck must be quite beautiful. Thad

A great looking place you have the pleasure of domiciling in Doug. Nicely presented b/w scene. I don't envy you the shoveling.
