This is from a 1970's slide and taken in a valley between the Wind River and Teton mountain ranges near Jackson Hole Wyoming. The Snake river winds it's way down the West side of the valley and is probably responsible for this watery marsh that the moose and elk find so inviting.

Doug, I really like this one, and the height of the grasses are more noticeable because of the moose. That is some wonderful countryside in that area. Tigs♥ =^..^=

What a beautiful view this is, Doug. I like your choice of B&W and the moose brings as Sandi said adds height to the grasses. Nice reflections as well.

He's either standing in 4 feet of water or laying down if this is all we are seeing of the moose. Nice composition of the scene and good contrasts in the photo Doug. I'd be tempted to crop some off the right side and bottom.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Doug - Knowing the size of moose, the scale of this image is impressive. Thad
