This is my driveway three days ago, and you can almost see my home over Blue's back, and down where my pickup is parked in front of the garage. We've just been out for our morning walk and those who know I can't get a broadband connection can now understand why, being down in a pocket surrounded by limestone ridges in every direction.

Doug, yes I can see what you mean but what a beautiful setting around you, how about the same shot in spring for a nice comparison. Blue is looking back at you to see what your up too! :) This is a beautiful natural B&W.

A nice perspective and composition of the scene Doug. A wonderful looking winter scene. I'm glad I'm not the one that has to shovel out that lane.

I totally understand BUT what a beautiful view you and Blue have for your walks. Great angle we are drawn to follow Blue right down the road and around the corner . Beautiful winter shot.

A wonderful capture of Blue and the super scenery Doug.
It looks very chilly.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Well, it's good you got it and it bypassed us, lol. Definitely looks so heavy and wet. Excellent shot and you do have a long driveway Doug.

You still live in a beautiful setting my dear friend

Excellent picture and composition. I like the way the road leads to home and Blue wants to go there. I think the picture needs all four, the weather, the scene, the road and the dog. Also, this is a great subject for black and white. Color would only distract from the mood.

Great shot - makes me homesick for those Northern winters.

What is life, if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare - and take pictures!
