They're about 200 yards too far for Flash Fill, but the rim lighting, deeper woods beyond , and their stance lets you know you're not getting any closer.

Nice lighting and colours in the photo Doug. A good looking fall scene and capture. to my eye it is perhaps a little over sharpened or its the way the lighting affects the scene. Anyhow, I added a slight gaussian blur and it made the scene more pleasing to my eye.
