Waiting until the lake ice is in this condition is nothing less than the title implies. These ice fishermen are from the city. The locals had their huts off for over three weeks.

Well said Doug, every year there are those that fall through the ice! Some make it out, and others do not. I really like the selective coloring in this capture against the B&W. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Oh my word! I'd be afraid to be out there in the dead of winter. I'd love to see a photo with all the local's huts. This is very interesting.

You can thaw them out in the spring or use them in the the ice cellar stupid comes to mind in this capture.
